Agenda
The meeting will start with registration from 8:00 on Tuesday 28 November, and will end at approximately 16:00 on Wednesday 29 November. There will be a conference dinner on Tuesday 28 November. An agenda will be available closer to the event.
Venue
GFBR will take place at the beautiful Eden Palace au Lac in Montreux in Switzerland, with an incredible view of the famous Lac Léman.
About Montreux
The nearest airport to Montreux is Geneva Airport (GVA), located at the other end of the lake in western Switzerland. It's about 1 hour's drive (by car or train) from Geneva to Montreux.
On the shores of Lake Geneva, in the heart of the Swiss Alps, the commune of Montreux enjoys an exceptional location. It's a town full of history and magnificent scenery.
The average temperature in November is around 9°C / 2°C (48°F / 35°F) with a strong probability of rain.
Accommodation
Accommodation is being arranged for funded participants at either the Eden Palace au Lac or its sister Hotel du Grand Lac Excelsior.
A number of rooms are being held for self-funded participants and they should contact the hotel directly quoting GFBR/WHO to make their reservation. We advise self-funded participants to contact the hotel as soon as possible.
