Sarah Carracedo holds a Lawyer Degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a Master of Bioethics from Monash University (Melbourne, Australia).
She has been an IRB intern in the CC Department of Bioethics of the National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, US) and has worked in the area of research ethics in the National Institute of Health of Peru (INS). She has been a member of different research ethics committees and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioethics of Clarkson University.
She teaches in the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and in the Faculty of Medicine of Cayetano Heredia University of Peru. Since 2020, she has been working as a consultant of the Regional Program on Bioethics of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO).
