I have a degree in Social Work, a PhD in Bioethics, a Master's in Social Policies and Citizenship, a Specialization in Mental Health and a Specialization in Public Health Management with an emphasis on health education. Currently, I am a technical advisor in the coordination of clinical research at the Department of Science and Technology - DECIT of the Ministry of Health, responsible for promoting the most relevant research for the SUS, the Brazilian Unified Health System. I was already a member of the National Research Ethics Committee – CONEP and developed actions at CONEP in the formation of Research Ethics Committees. I also work as a professor of bioethics at a public university. I have experience in the area of ​​public health and public policies, with an emphasis on bioethics, vulnerabilities, harm reduction, social support network, alcohol and other drugs (prevention, treatment and assistance), health of the black population, assistance to the population in situation of street and people in deprivation of liberty.
